I guess it's a good thing 3 year olds don't really put a lot of stock into their birthdays because Zion's really fizzled. She had been sick for a couple days before her birthday, on her birthday, and a couple days after, too. She really had us worried. We finally decided to just have the party, anyway! She didn't have any appetite at all so she didn't get any of her own cake (Nikoli was very happy to help out in that area). As of yesterday, she has been feeling a lot better. She has lost some weight, but she is getting her appetite back and she's back to playing. Today I took her shopping for some new church shoes. She LOVES to shop! She found the shoes she wanted right away and refuses to take them off! They are a metalic pink sandal with a transparent one-ince heel and a butterfly made out of diamonds on the toe. They really fit her personality! She got a bunch of bike stuff for her birthday and Nikoli doesn't know it yet, but he's getting a bigger bike for his birthday, too. It will be fun to all be able to bike together in the park.

I can't believe she is big enough to ride a bike! It seems like she should be a baby still! How time flies! She is such a doll!!
OH I can't believe she is 3 already. I am so sorry i really was going to take them to the zoo. but i haven't been feeling to good and havent had time. but someday i will. i will have to come see Zion's new shoes.
